Dr. Turney-Zapata & Family
Dr. Turney-Zapata has been practicing in Madison County since 2007. She is a member of the National Association of Nutritional Professionals and the National Association of Qualified Developmental Disability Professionals. Dr. Turney-Zapata is dually board certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, as well as the American Alternative Medical Association.
She started her education at the Pierre Laclede's Honors College in St. Louis, Missouri and is an alumist of Clayton College in Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated with highest honors.
Dr. Turney-Zapata holds a doctorate in Natural Health, and currently serves her community one day a week at Choice Medicine in Toney Alabama, a non-profit community health care facility.
Dr. Turney-Zapata is on the board of Holding Hands, Community Services Inc., an organization that seeks to assist individuals and families of individuals in residential facilities. She is currently certified as an instructor in CPR, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Non-Violent Physical Crisis Intervention amongst other things.
Dr. Turney-Zapata is a former vice president of the Limestone County Foster Parent Association, and a current & active foster parent. She resides in Limestone County with her wonderful husband, two beautiful daughters, and an adorable son. She believes man's greatest invention was the dehydrator, second only to the kiss. She loves to laugh, cook, and homeschool her children.
